Comprehensive plans are the primary policy tool for local governments to set long-term priorities for local development, investment, and regulation. Many local governments are recognizing the importance of addressing electric vehicle deployment in development, investment, and regulation. This document summarizes and categorizes the adopted electric vehicle goals and policies of cities and counties in Minnesota. While specific to Minnesota, this document has insights relevant for other states and communities.
